First, we’d like to wish everyone a belated happy Easter. It isn’t Aldrick that’s updating this time, it would be me, Matt Feldman, Owner of Mez Fantasy Games. Now, we did talk about some stuff, and we realize that we have been a tad bit slow, and we’re going to be completely honest about why that is and give you all the future layout of our business and our goals. Let’s get right to it then, yeah?
First and foremost, we are not closing down. Quite the opposite actually. The issue is, in all honesty, that we are a digital publishing company that was founded on our own merit and money, and while I did all the research when founding this company, I did so with a goal in mind: To published talented, up and coming, creative authors. Aside from that I wanted to build a company that wasn’t just known for its books and its amazing authors; but I also wanted to build and develop Tabletop and Card games for everyone of all ages to enjoy. The issue that arose is this: Monetary issues within our political climate and my own medical disability have reduced my ability to fully perform the functions that my purposes as a publisher would be, as well as the fact that my secondary objective, which was to produce games as well, crossed over with my publishing of my authors. Essentially, too many hands in too many pies.
Now, what does this mean for the future of MFG? Well, first and foremost within the coming year we will be officially changing the name of the company to Mez Fantasy Publishing. That’s literally a major financial change to do, and while we did promise our authors that we would get them ISBN numbers, the cost is increasing every year. That said, as soon as we can we will be getting the ISNB numbers, despite the ones that Amazon and Kindle have presented, as well as other distributors that we work with. What it also means for the future of MFG is that currently, things are just going to be slow. Between our stretched thin small staff, and an owner whose taking care of his family and trying to raise revenue for marketing advertisements for the company’s books, this is not something that can be accomplished. We said at the beginning that we would starting making money by the tenth year and we are rapidly approaching that within the next three to four, and as such, we have seen some income from our talented hosts of authors. However, we are going to be doing more for them as the load lightens so to speak.
Are we still publishing? Absolutely. We are still publishing, and again, this is where the issue came into play: The fact is, MFG’s core three phases of Book Publishing, Comic Book Publishing, and eventually Game Development, have all sort of crossed over into one major phase, and again, it pretty much adds up to the fact that when it comes to digital comic book publishing, my knowledge on that was not at as up to date or even within the realm of my current competency and for that, I do sincerely apologize. Right now, to publish comic books, we would need an already finished product, as we do not have a Storyboard Team, a Comic Book Editing Team, nor do we have the artist and inkers to fully realize a comic book at this time. We can do novels with images within them, yes, similar to works like Stephen King’s the Dark Tower or Artist/Author Brom’s works, including the Devil’s Rose, Plucker, and more. Our ultimate goal is to be able to provide original comic books from original artists/writers, but at this time we simply can’t, so we are going to be sticking with our original modality of publishing authors in the genres that we have already established in the past.
What about our current projects? Well, we’re going to get right back into them, starting with our latest announcement: We have officially received from a new client a fantasy RPG called Medieval, based on the d20 tabletop RPG system, and we are looking for Alpha Testers. Why Alpha Testers? Well we want you to break the game of course! All Alpha testers will receive a free copy of the game’s core rule book and GM Rulebook when published. We will have more information closer to June when the official Alpha Booklet is put together.
Now some of you may have noticed that MFG has been streaming content, and the question is why? Well its simple: We’re aiming to not only help raise donations for genuinely true charitable causes and help those who truly need it, but we are also streaming and raising funding for our company as a whole. We have partners in our streams, some of which are my own family, and friends, while others are amazing gamers from around the world that we are glad to call friends.
This is not the Endgame people. This isn’t even the beginning of the end of Meztrailov Fantasy Games. Its just the beginning. What do we say to the naysayers? As Game of Thrones’ would tell us, ‘Not today’. See you all soon.

When we look at young adult fantasy, we typically think of Harry Potter, and The Hunger Games, and the Divergence Series as well as the Maze Runner Trilogy as some of the hallmarks and legends and classics of the genre, along with the Percy Jackson series. However, in an age where decisiveness and creativity are abundant its fresh to see yet another talented author whose capable of bringing adult themes and tones to young adults in a way that really does translate and connect with them. This is our review of Clemy Warner-Thompson’s ‘The Star’, and its overall rating within our scale.
In this, we see Clemy-Warner Thompson’s, ‘The Star’ the first in her second Series of Young Adult Novels. Overall, first we start with this Character Abbi, who, at first appearances is a typical protagonist female with power she doesn’t quite understand, and even worse and horrifying enemies that we start off knowing little about. But soon, from the gate, we learn that there’s more to Abbi than this seemingly tired out trope that’s been done before, and we see the true originality of the mind-set behind Abbi, and her desperation to not just overcome her fear of the dark, but to fulfil the destiny that’s awaiting her. In this, we are introduced to a mysterious figure who has come to Abbi in her dreams since her arrival at a school, aptly titled ‘The College’, where while things seem normal, it couldn’t be farther from the truth. Scarred physically and emotionally, readers will be able to connect with Abbi, regardless of gender, as well as the supporting cast of characters, including our Mysterious Dream Protector whose watched Abbi since she was a child and played the role of Guardian Angel. The power that Thompson brings to the pages to make these characters as believable and real is so refreshing in the Indie World, and overall, Meztrailov Fantasy Games has to say that this is a must-read and we cannot look forward to reading the next book in the series.
Overall Rating: 4 out of 5 Stars
Reasoning: Why did we choose this rating? Its simple; Thompson takes the traditional notions of light and dark, and plays a spin on them that makes our deepest nightmares and troubles as young adults like social acceptance and self-esteem, and brings them to the forefront with not just the utmost care, but also the most brazen and courageous way possible. In her storytelling she introduces us to characters that we can not only relate to, but we can also feel that in this story, that there is truly a sense of hope despite the overwhelming Darkness that surrounds Abbi and the other Supporting cast, and the physical Manifestation of the Shadows that we are all so well-meant to be afraid of. This book is highly suggested, and is a must read for any fans of young adult fiction. Taking Elements of what can be construed as Harry Potter and mixing them with Urban and Young Adult Themes like something from Cirque De Freak, we immediately are immersed in this world of darkness and light, and yet then there is this grey area in which Abbi stands on the cusp and is needing of making a choice; which is something we can all easily relate to. At Mez Fantasy Games, we tip our hats off to Clemy Warner-Thompson and look forward to reading the next book in the series!

When an individual think of an indie movie, they think of a low-budget film, like a cult classic like Kevin Smith’s Clerks, or Movies produced by Netflix or up and coming talented individuals from the fantastic Legion M, such as the movie the Good Samaritan. However, the film we’ve recently seen is called Angelics: Ascension. Written by Ron Santiano and Richard Ong, and directed by Ron Santiano, whose works also include a fan film that acts as a follow up to 1990’s cult classic known as Leon, starring Jean Reno, Oscar Award Winner Gary Oldman, and Natalie Portman's first movie debut, the fan film to this movie, Mathilda, is also part of his credits.
However, this review is not about previously well-done works, but rather the work of Angelics Ascension. Written and directed by Santiano and Ong, the movie stars Akari Kalai, Richie Million Jr., and Chantal Lisette and currently holds a 3.0 average rating among users on Amazon Prime since its debut just a few weeks ago, we decided as usual to pry into the world of Indie Entertainment as we are so often known for doing and watched this movie.
We didn’t just watch this movie and analyze it either; we bloody well enjoyed every minute of it from the get go. Please note: This review does not contain some minor spoilers, and it should be noted that if you have not seen the movie or are bothered by spoilers, you would best be served to wait until our next update on Saturday, regarding the future of Mez Fantasy Publishing (Soon to be our new name).
First and foremost, the description of the film reads as follows on Amazon:
Angelics: Ascension is the story of a covert team of supernatural heroines/heroes whose tragic pasts and origins serve as harbingers of the coming age of a twisted world. It is an explosive action-packed sci-fi adventure drama that brings the archetypes of religion and mythology into the realm of political intrigue and the human condition.
This short summary though doesn’t do this movie justice. This movie isn’t just about Heroes and Heroines who are part of a Covert Agency that fights against the forces of evil and trains Angels and Arch-Angels to fight demons, or Vampires to kill their own kind, but rather, this is a movie that really looks at the struggles of the characters involved and how each of their own backstories contributes to the greater whole of the story and how they actually interact together. Reminiscent of a fledgling Tarantino style of character development, we see that these characters not only have to learn how to trust one another, but also how to place their trust and faith in the idea that what they are doing is the right thing. With a fantastic supporting cast to really bolster the main cast, this is not a movie that will soon be forgotten. With this all too real evil on the rise, while we watched, we at MFG could really feel the sense of tension and drama that was being brought through; the training sequences for the Covert Heroes could be felt through the dialogue and their character interactions. Furthermore, something that was very unique that actually was completely original was not just the portrayal of Arch-Angels and Supernatural Threats in this fantastic Modern-Day Sci-fi/Fantasy Romp of indie enjoyment, but also how well views can really relate to the struggles of the characters, some of whom are simply trying to find their place among their team mates, while the whole of the group is trying to make peace with the tragedy of their pasts and their past mistakes. All the while? The world is on the brink of going straight to hell.
When it comes to plot, as many of our readers and subscribes know, we work on a Five Start Rating System, however, we’ve gotten a bit more technical in our reviews of books and movies and video games over the past few months, as we’ve wanted to ensure that when we do start releasing our online Magazine again, you know that the people working hard to bring it to you aren’t just wasting your time, or ours by simply sitting around and watching movies.
So let’s get to the overall review: When it comes to plotline, regardless of what’s said on Amazon Prime by users, and keeping in mind that the internet will troll and harass anything they feel cannot reach the standards of an AAA (also known as a Triple A movie title or company), we feel at MFG this movie deserves a full 5 Stars due to the hard work of the cast, but more importantly for being able to provide a storyline that isn’t just cohesive and immersive, but also relatable and engaging.
Plot Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars
-Technical, Choreography, Filming, and Writing-
Now when it comes to the overall production of the film, like all movies, there’s a lot to consider. Is the lighting right for this film? Is the tone properly portrayed; are there too many clichés? In all honesty, Angelics: Ascension admittedly does follow some traditional tropes that could have been avoided or written differently to create a more powerful impact. Furthermore, when we look at the choreography of the combat scenes and the overall stunts that were performed…for an indie film that has yet to be released in theatres, this film gets top marks. Despite some minor flaws in the writing (and we really do mean minor that in no way take away from the overall writing of the story and the telling of the story), not only is the writing solid and the humor very modern and current, the overall idea of a covert group serving Heaven’s side of things in the ultimate battle of good against evil, it’s important to note that this battle isn’t the focus of the movie, but rather it serves as the existing backdrop. While Angelics does engage in some traditionally well-known Tropes, such as Characters with existing crises that they must overcome to achieve their full potential, what truly knocks this out of the park is the fact that the battle for good and evil is just that: A back drop. Rather than be the focus of the story, the characters are continuously the focus of the story. The combat scenes are like watching professional dancers, with the fluidity of combat sequences and how they are filmed as well as the way the lighting and sound is perfectly tuned to the setting of the movie, this a complete home-run.
The musical score is completely original and deserves its own accoupling official soundtrack for the film simply because the music used is the type you could easily use for any table top campaign setting for ambience. Furthermore, the shifts in tone are done just right that the scene transitions are a continuous flow, which many indie films have a problem maintaining (one such example is the indie horror film, Teeth). Even going further than the overall special effects of this movie while, admittedly are not triple A rated, even with the top marks, this in no way takes away from the movie. What was done with the limited budgets and true desire to bring this visionary epic tale to life on the screen was done with a style and fervent zealousness that should inspire future filmmakers to truly aspire to. The special effects in this movie are strong, solid, and all very relevant and carefully adjusted to meet each scene and character, and what we found to be one of the strongest demonstrations of this is in which a particular character reveals her true nature, and shows her true Angelic status; and in doing so, we get to see the true beauty of the original concept art for these characters brought to life. Angels portrayed as these powerful beings truly shines through the imagery of the wings we see, the way we see them fly; even when we see true power burn through the eyes of our main characters as they use their powers or embrace their vampiric heritage or fight these evil creatures they’re trained to destroy. The special effects are simply icing on the cake of a fantastic movie.
Overall Rating for Technicality, Writing, Choreography, And Special Effects:
4.5 out of 5 Stars
Overall, MFG gives this indie film a full five-star rating, and its we highly suggest you get out there and go to Amazon Prime (for those that have an account) and get your hands on either a rental copy or go out and buy the DVD/Blu Ray. Thank you for reading another month MFG Mouth Off! I wish I would hear from you all more frequently in the comments section, but we’ll get there one, and if you want, I can set up a Facebook account, and list my email so I can hear from you, the readers. Let me know in the comments section as always what you think of this month’s update. We do have a lot for you, so I’m going to be breaking it up into parts. The parts of this month’s update are as such: I) Two reviews of video games I’ve sped run through in the last few weeks, and an amazing book that I couldn’t put down since I got my free copy from the owner of the company himself (Yes, he actually gave me a book to read for review purposes for free, and I didn’t have to pay!) No, I joke; our owner of MFG is not a stingy person in the slightest, especially when it comes to his clients and his employees (Myself and the editing staff!). Part III) A full update of the things to come in brief glimpses of the company.
Part I: Video Game Reviews, Mars: War Logs and Injustice 2
Without any spoilers in this week’s Mouth Off! About two video games, we start off with Mars: War Logs. This game, is an action RPG, that is more of an XBOX 360 Arcade Indie Game than any well-known game, and for the cheap price of $3.74 that it was being sold for, I decided, after serious contemplation about whether or not a game that was only 3 GB was going to be worth my time. I can honestly say that it was. The game places you on Mars during what is known as a Great War. One of the Primary Characters, named Innocence (similarly, there are other characters with almost Biblically pure names), who begins the narration of the game, before being sent to a POW camp, where he immediately joins main character and the character the player controls, Roy. Without giving away any spoilers as mentioned earlier, let’s look at this game. The game’s actual storyline is slightly confusing, and definitively the gameplay is clunky and somewhat miscalculated at best, but nonetheless, this game has won its way into my B-Rated Collection as one of my favorite games. Despite the fact that this game is a B-Rated Game, akin very much to B-Rated Movies, this game earned a special place in my heart due to the immensely large storyline for such a small game (a lot happens at once so to speak for a setting that is apparently one of Mars’ largest), and sets the game up for a prison break. While the controls are clunky in the sense of slow reaction time (and this isn’t typical for previous generation consoles), the game’s choice system is what really impressed me. One of the Achievements is to influence the personality of one of the NPC’s. I learned throughout my playthrough that the choices that are made in game really do have long-term consequences, giving the game a variable of replay ability that is hard to find for a game of its nature and somewhat incomplete design.
Overall, despite the somewhat repetitive nature of the games, and the fact that some of the audio is also off, this game has earned a solid rating in my book as entertaining, fun, and overall the most important thing about a video game today: replay ability. That all said, I would recommend getting this game from the XBOX Live Marketplace, or even the PS4 Marketplace on the assumption that it’s there (I haven’t really checked the PlayStation Marketplace other than for free games that they give out). What I found most interesting about this game aside from how in-depth the choice that a player makes are, is the fact that this game will lead directly into another game made by developer Spiders, called Technomancer, which is another action RPG, of similar build and make, but with less gameplay clumsiness, as I’ve seen from demo-videos. It also makes me want to play Technomancer, and see if the storylines do pull together, as Technomancer is supposed to be the continuation of this storyline. Hopefully, the storyline of Spiders’ two games, will be very much akin to the Metro 2033 games, and how the first and second game pick up after one another.
Game: Mars: War Logs
Rating: 3.7 out of 5 stars
Now onto the second game that I could rush through, also known as Warner Brother’s baby, Mortal Kombat X-2; I mean, Injustice 2! I’m just kidding, though it is interesting to note for veteran combat gamers that Warner Brothers did develop Injustice and Injustice 2 just like they developed the new Mortal Kombat games, hence my previously stated poor joke. Just like it’s predecessor, Injustice 2 has created a fantastically rounded off roster of characters, made their abilities unique, while still sticking to the original canon of the DC Universe (unlike many who have chosen a side, either Marvel or DC, I’m a fan of both universes! Don’t start throwing things yet, I’ll explain in another update, or if you really want to know, leave a comment, and I’ll give you the reason). Aside from this, Injustice 2 does exactly what its predecessor Injustice: Gods Among Us did, and offered us not only Multiplayer where we can kick the tar out of one another and earn the bragging rights of fatalities—err—Superpower Moves, even the DLC characters are worth noting, as was the case with Injustice 2’s predecessor.
The Storyline of Injustice 2 however, has left me a little confused. Supposedly designed to take place after the ending of Injustice Gods Among Us, Injustice 2 continues the story of what happens when the Clown Prince of Psychotic Crimes tricks our Loveable American God Superhero into making a choice between Lois Lane and saving the world, and instead, loses Lois Lane, and does the one thing he’s never done: Killed the Joker, and any villain in the world that steps out of line; even non-supervillains and meta-humans. Batman leads a resistance against the Justice League Controlled Governments of the world who are still policing the criminal element, offering that continued story, with the difference now being that all quarrels and differences are put aside because a new threat has emerged in the form of Brainiac and Darkseid. It’s never good when these two characters are in the same story, let alone when one them is set on destroying Earth and absorbing it’s people the same way they did to Krypton. The way that Injustice 2 keeps a player coming back for more isn’t just it’s storyline however. It is the full customization of characters that is available and the new and improved combat senses from switching battle stages, to the new powers and graphics that the game has to offer. Further, the game offers something completely new in the fact that you can now create whole guilds and teams to form for professional tournament play, which is not something that was done with Injustice: Gods Among Us. Not to say that the first Injustice was a bad game, but rather, Injustice 2 really was a deserving sequel, and fans of the series will definitively be happy. Even though I’m still confused on the storyline of the campaign, especially considering how the first game ended, I’d still rate this game highly enjoyable and having an amazing amount of replay value. However, what continues to bring me back to the game is the new and improved S.T.A.R.S. Labs Missions. These new challenges continue to test me in ways that I cannot even begin to explain, and there have been many nights where I’ve thrown my controller in sheer rage due to my lack of ability to properly block attacks! However, ignoring all that, the extra S.T.A.R.S. Lab Missions are definitely one of Injustice 2’s best features, and really does help to bring the game together. With a match time to determine how long you have to wait for a game to start up online, and controls that are both seamless, and fluid, Injustice 2 is an incredibly solid game that I would highly recommend picking up for either console or PC and by console, I don’t care if it’s the PlayStation 4 or the XBOX One that you get it for, just get the game!

Part II: Bloodlines are thicker than Water Veins as Proven by Wendy Winchester: Bloodlines of Atlantis Book I: A Review
There are very few Indie Authors these days that aren’t putting out the same old regurgitated ideas in new form. And by this statement, I mean disrespect to indie writers out there; it’s just a simple fact that no true idea is original anymore; just new spins on old fables, tables, legends, lore, and mythos. With shows thanks to Supernatural and Charmed, and Buffy the Vampire; movies like Lord of the Rings, Interview with a Vampire, and Legend (the Tom Cruise film, not the 2015 movie of the same name), ides that are originally put together are admittedly, hard to come by, in their one hundred percent original authentication where the individual is the first person to get that truly original idea. To make this sound less insulting, and more like a factual statement, I’ll point something out: The Lord of the Rings set the stage for books like Game of Thrones and Harry Potter, with the large majority of these fans thinking (idiotically, in my opinion, and since a blog is an opinion based forum for speaking, I do have the right to think that on paper) that books like Harry Potter and Game of Thrones came first. To be fair, while they are more widely renown, and George R. R. Martin looks old enough to be a fat Crypt Keeper and Father Time and Santa all rolled into one, the truth of the matter is that Lord of the Rings, and the Hobbit, came before any of these books, and today, still, we use these books for guidelines on how to write stories today. Elves are portrayed as glass cannons or excellent fighters because of Tolkien’s vision of Elves. Dwarves are burly, drunken fighters who are fantastic rune Smithers and weapon makers because of how Tolkien portrayed them, and how companies like Wizards of the Coast (may Gary Gygax rest in peace), and Blizzard Entertainment, have continually impacted the genre of fantasy fiction to meet their consumer’s needs.
Well, I’m here to say today that while there have been many books down about a fictional setting in the world of Atlantis, very few authors have managed to successfully pull off the idea of Merfolk, and the legends of Atlantis as well as up and coming indie published Meztrailov Fantasy Games Author, Wendy Winchester. With her book, Triple Psi: Bloodlines of Atlantis, Book I, I was truly blown away. First, let the fact that a young adult book (basically the equivalent of the Harry Potter Novels in their early years) or a book like the Divergent or Hunger Games series was able to so thoroughly enrapture me when these other books and movies caused me to fall asleep twenty minutes into them, I have to say that once I was emailed my copy of the book by MFG for review, which I received at 8:00 PM Central Time, and finished reading the next day by 10:00 PM the following evening, I couldn’t put the book down. MFG has really scored huge with this author, and she brings to the table something that very few authors in the indie fiction community do when attempting a story based on a fictional setting that has such a rich history of lore and mythos already surrounding it, and that’s make it even more original.
While there will be no spoilers, I will give a basic gist of the summary of the story. In a Nutshell, you have lead character whose abilities are all psychic related; she can heal wounds by touching someone, she can move things with her mind, and she can pulp her victims with a thought (though not without a heavy-duty price, as I learned, and was so very glad to see), who is of the bloodline of Atlantis, and a true-born heir at that. With a variety of enemies who are hunting her, Samantha Lambros, one of our Main Characters, is not someone to be trifled with, especially when you threaten those close to her. I won’t lie. The author does have a way to go before reaching the J.K. Rowling point of her career; with the book having some minor plot issues, and some parts that felt unnecessary to the story. Overall however, I could really connect with the characters, with the story. The parts that included fight scenes were well done and very well thought out, as though the writer herself had undergone physical training to gain a better understanding of fighting herself just for the purposes of her novel. Furthermore, Wendy Winchester brings a new vantage point to the use of Psychic Powers, and how it affects the wielder. With this new touch and new spin, I can say with certainty that I will be picking up whatever merchandise MFG will have to offer, and I simply can’t wait for the next book (Assuming of course there is a next book). Overall, the book brings a level of originality to an already engrossed genre of fiction by adding some truly amazing historical references, amazing geographical knowledge, and amazing knowledge of the human anatomy and how much punishment it can take in the fictional universe. The best part of Wendy Winchester’s writing (aside from the fact that it’s likely her last name is a reference to the Winchesters from Supernatural, which happens to be among the top 5 of my favorite shows) is the realism that Wendy brings to her book. While many authors that are well-established make it very clear their characters can get hurt, and do get hurt, and take a beating (Dean Koontz with Odd Thomas, Roland Deschain with the Dark Tower, Harry Dresden with the Dresden Files); Wendy shows you just how outclassed her character is when it comes to some of the other supernatural character characters that Samantha and her group of allies deal with, and furthermore, she even has been able to show an amazing knowledge of fictional anatomy, and how psychic powers affect both the mental fortitude of her characters, as well as the physicality of her characters. That said, this is a must read not just for young adults, though it seems to be clearly geared towards them; but if you are an adult looking for a book that is just plain fun and entertaining, than this book is definitely for you.
While Wendy Winchester has some ways to go before becoming the next J.K Rowling or author who wrote the Hunger Games and Divergent Series, her first entry into her book series the Bloodlines of Atlantis, truly shows that she has the capability and is well on her way to reaching that status. Definitively check out her work, you can find the links here on the MFG Author page she has, or on Amazon, Draft 2 Digital, and other online distributors.

Hello Everyone and I do so apologize for the failure to update this. I expect I’ll hear bearing a firm stern conversation with the boss man himself. Not that he would be in the wrong mind you! I did promise to get him this update earlier than today. Anyway, let’s get right into it, shall we!
I have had the very amazing pleasure of playing through the game Prey. Since it’s release, I have actually completed two campaign throughs, and have managed to gain a really deep look into what Bethesda has done. This piece of art for a vide game is most assuredly going to be the better purchase than Injustice 2 (which also happens to be a great game, btw). However, with the stunning visuals, and the amazingly deep and rich subplot that we’ve come to know and expect from writers like Neil Gaiman with his work on American Gods, or even deeper stories, such as the Dark Tower by Stephen King, or the Warhammer40k books and their continued and interconnected storylines.
With Bethesda’s recent work, Prey, you are a researcher sent to combat an alien force aboard the Talos I space station, which has existed since Kennedy’s time as president, and was never shot (and you get to see this result in the many differed styles of architecture that do fill out the game). This game has you go from Art Deco to Dystopian Science, while aboard the Talos I, while you fight this enemy menace, and try to ensure that it never reaches Earth. With this said, one could say that this game takes Doom, Dead Space, and other survival Horror Games, throws in a very rich, thick, and powerful storyline where every choice you make in-game has a long term consequence, something definitively worth investing your money in. With it’s visuals, jump-scares, it is almost as if Ridley Scott himself had said, “This is my legacy, this is Aliens in a nutshell”. With all this said about the game however, I personally for MFG’s Mouth off give this game an overall 5 star rating for content, deployability, consistent and enjoyable combat and jump-scares, and the overall sound and visual quality.
Game: Prey (PS4, XBOX ONE, PC)
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars.
Now, Meztrailov Fantasy Games does have some things that it’s working on. Currently, the company is running it’s spring Madness sale, where each day, all books in the library go through a lotto, and that random choice will be on sale for a total of 24 hours, before being being repriced back to it’s original price. So act now, and within the next week, in order to cash in on some amazing savings from some really talented authors, which I will be reviewing for MFG as an objective writer and reader starting next month’s update. I will be starting with Al Holt and Wendy Winchester’s work.
Aside from all this, we are still looking for submissions, so please, if you have an idea, bring it to MFG. You’ll be treated right, like family, and as though your work has meaning. Even if they cannot publish your manuscript, they will refer you to someone that can actually publish your manuscript. So with all that said folks, I look forward to your feedback as always, and hope you enjoyed this short, but simple update this month. Sorry all of them can’t be long and filled, but I promised I would keep spoilers out of this one. See you next month!

First to address the strange font that I’m using: When I was given the creative control over the MFG Mouth Off, that also happened to include the font and layout of the document and the way it was uploaded to the website. Since I do happen to respect procedure within this start-up publishing company, I am going to stick to the format that was already laid out by the owner, but I do plan on using my own font. If this doesn’t show up on Weebly, then just completely disregard this entire opening, lol.
Now, it was mentioned by the Owner and VP of MFG that I would be updating individuals on the going-ons of the company in accordance with writing a review for two video games. Well, that’s exactly the pln. However, I would like everyone to know that each section of the reviews and updates are going to have separate titles, but the overall title of the update is going to be changed. So hence force, the rest of this MFG Mouth Off is officially titled, “MFG Mouth Off Presents: Aldrick’s All In One Update”.
With all that said, let me get to the reviews of the games I was very fortunate enough to play. Horizon Zero Dawn, an exclusive for the PS4 and Resident Evil 7, which is available for all three platforms, PS4, XBOX One, and PC. I know that we have some streamers that we sponsor, so I wanted to make sure that they knew which systems these games were available for.
So, moving us into the reviewing section, here we go.
+Resident Evil 7: A Step Back to make 10 Steps Forward+
Since the original debut of Resident Evil for the PS 1, survival horror games have consistently been adapted and compared to RE 1, and then later with the release of the PS2, Resident Evil 4. Games like Amnesia, Deadspace, Layers of Fear, Five Nights at Freddy’s, Slenderman and Outlast would likely not exist if not for the release of the Resident Evil Series. And why not? The Resident Evil Games, up until it’s most recent failure in RE 6, but later revamped success in the Revelations 1 and 2 Storylines and Gameplay Mechanics which were incredibly reminiscent of RE 4.
With the Ill-Fated creation of Resident Evil 6, the game took a terrible nosedive among fanbase and new players alike, with many finding solace in the only redeeming gameplay found in the attempted Mercenaries Mode. Even this, however was short lived. IThroughout the history of the Resident Evil Series, there was only one other FPS based RE Shooter, called Soul Survivor for the PS1. At the time, Capcom had failed, yet in today’s market, with the next-gen systems being able to do more than simply motion capture and produce nearly real life graphics, the game franchise that has become a household name has been able to redeem itself.
The player takes on the role of primarily, Ethan, a character whose wife has been missing two years, and suddenly emerges to send Ethan a desperate email to stay away from her, and that she apologizes. Immediately, typical of a survival horror game, Ethan Springs right into action. However, as you take on the character Ethan, you immediately feel as though you are thrust into Shreveport, Louisiana, and that the world is going to collapse around you. The narrative behind the resource driven FPS based game of RE 7 is only outdone by its amazing atmosphere and terrifying surroundings. With the original game’s puzzleesque mechanics in place, the game is fully ready to bring you to a world of horror. Additionally, along with Ethan, you play as his Wife, and a missing TV Crew, depending on certain video tapes found in-game. Typical of beating the Resident Evil Game, there is a New Game Plus Mode, which starts you off with a Wesker inspired pistol. The DLC for the game focuses on the happenings and horrors that the news team that you meet early in the game, and whose fates were at first largely unknown, now a serious fact. While it’s clear that only horror is what lies in the outcome (the only spoiler we’ll give away in this review), it is made clear that elements of Movie Theatre Dramatics were drawn on, and that more campaign focused DLC other than what happens to the Baker clan and their daughter Zoe, not more than a week and a half after they first encounter….well you’ll find out. In truth, the game was very well done, despite the DLC, with three different endings. I am not afraid to admit that at this point, I have only uncovered one ending of the game, and it’s apparently called Ending Number 1. That said, I will be looking more into it.
Overall, the game’s mechanics, resource driven ideals and horrifying atmosphere are very much rooted back in the way things were done in the original Resident Evil Games, specifically 1-4, while also putting a modern spin on it for the Next Gen Consoles and PC. One would think that the idea of a first person shooter for Resident Evil would actually diminish the fear factor, and that’s actually so intensely wrong. Overall, despite the game’s DLC being somewhat disappointing commercially and personally, with the Daughters portion of the DLC being the only redeeming replayable story, aside from the main campaign, based on MFG’s rate System, I’d have to vote in favor of Resident Evil 7 and the DLC, but…there are some cons to that vote as well.
Overall rate: 3 and a half Stars
I also promised a review for Horizon Zero Dawn, for the PS4 players that read the MFG Mouth Off. So, let’s get to that review now as well.
+Horizon Zero Dawn has more than 100 Expectations Fulfilled+
Horizon Zero Dawn is an Action RPG game, somewhat hack and slash, yet somehow combined with the puzzle and open world environment of Lara Croft, set in the future, some thousands of years after the first human civilization has fallen, where Robots have taken over the world. The player begins as an Outcast (terrible label among the tribe known as the Nora, though truthfully, I have yet to actually beat the game so this review is only based on about 20 hours’ worth of game-play).
Taking on the role of a girl named Aloy, you are adopted by elder outcast Rost, who falls in love with you as a Father would. You learn to train for the Proving, in order to get answers about your background, and the game quickly demonstrates why the PS4 is more of a console than the XBOX One, though necessarily a better one, depending on one’s view. Robot Giraffes, Wolves, Sabretooth Tigers, and more, show themselves in the game’s opening video, before you’re quickly forced to take over a young Aloy, and earn what is called a Focus, and get your first taste for collectibles. The overall gameplay Mechanic somehow merges the Borderlands like Three-Tree Skill Set, with the ability of Lara Croft’s Open World Hunting, and Deadspace’s combat mechanics. While standing on its own narratively speaking, the developers of Horizon Zero Dawn have done a fantastic job in making the DLC items that one gets for the digital bonus worthwhile to a point, but then make it more imperative to ascertain the game’s in-game weapons and armor, and why they’re needed. The game seems to take its ideas of storylines and side quests from Square Enix’s widely successful Final Fantasy XV, however, it’s identity is clearly its own.
Overall Rating: 5/5 Stars
Average Rating: Fantastic, and Perfectly well done.
Now, as I am obligated to inform everyone of what’s going on with Meztrailov Fantasy Games and what they’re doing, some projects are on their way. Authors Mariah Lynde and Jayson Zwirner are in the process of the producing the next books in their respective series, the same as author Wendy Winchester. I, Personally, am looking forward to these releases, as I’ve read these books for my own curiosity and was impressed with this area of the indie scene. MFG has found its calling when it comes to the publishing of not just the ‘Punk’ Genre, but the Horror, and Survival, the Comedic, the Romantic, and the Fantastic and Sci-Fi aspects of publishing as well. At worst, if any truly negative things could truly be said about this company, as someone that’s paid to be objective when writing about them, it is that they currently lack the true resources that many other successful indie companies have, and that’s resources.
Which leads me to my reveal, and surprise at that as well. Almost as if they read my mind, MFG’s owner, is planning on introducing not only a Meztrailov Loyalty Rewards Program, with details to be revealed later, as well as services to be offered to self-publishing authors. This will apparently range from building them a fully professional website, to editing and cover art, without the need of signing a contract as a way to help promote indie authors, while still staying within the fair and competitive market. Type-setting will also be included in this as well.
That basically cover its. The last thing of note, that is incredibly awesome is that we are going to be able to get a sit down with a Co-Founder of the Fan-Owned Film Company Legion M, and get that updated interview onto the website as soon as possible. I’ve been told that it should be no more than by the end of April.
Until next time faithful readers.

First and Foremost:
I’m deeply sorry for the lack of updates. With some serious technical difficulties, many of our computing resources have been severely cut in half, however, within the next three weeks, this issue will be resolved (despite it supposed to being two, we are actually assuming that it may take longer). There is much to update you all on, as well as some stuff that you guys should know as our reader base and fan base, and our collaborators and friends in the Indie community.
First, we’re throwing several shout-outs. First, we send our major Shout-Out and Best In the Business Achievements to Vicki Rose and her Public Relations Company, and we wish her and her family well; as well as our friends at Insomnia Press, whose owner and Founder is Elizabeth Prybylski. These achievements are worth 50 Points a piece. What do they really equate too? Really, they’re just our way of being geeky and attempting to be awesome by showing our appreciation, but we will actually explain the achievement points, and how they will be working in the future with our company, as we are going to be attempting to implementing them in the future. So that said, Vicki Rose and her Public Relations Company and Elizabeth Prybylski congrats for receiving your achievements.
Now, we do have some updates to get to, so let’s shall we?
First and foremost, one of our staff has begun their path to streaming through both the PS4 and the XBOX One Live subscription Services, as well as PC. Their gamertags are as follows: XBOX Live=CyphonCross89; PS4=CyphonCross89; Steam=CyphonCross89; Blizzard=Cyphoncross#1238. Yes, they are all the same, as his twitch stream is www.twitch.tv/cyphoncross89, . Others aretwitch.tv/ldydrkjedi1, twitch.tv/meesterincubi, The reason that we have kept this according to Meztrailov policy, is that it would be more easily recognizable for you all to find one of our streamers and their stream, and enjoy what they’re doing to the best of their ability and demonstrating some truly epic game skills in the process. Definitively check them out.. Some of our very own authors have their own streaming accounts, as well as our artists and editors. That said, we will, with their permission of course having been acquired directly before the publishing of this update, be giving you all the links to their twitch streams as well. Some of our friends also have streams that they would wish for individuals to follows, and as such, we will be providing the links to either their youtube or their twitch streams.
With the stream of CyphonCross89, we have yet to come up with a name for it, so we are going to let you, the readership and fan base, be the ones to name Cyphon’s streaming channel and episodes. Of course, the episodes of the game will be present in the main title, but, Cyphon’s Streaming is actually an experiment for the company and a goal. Thus far, we have had the fortune of interviewing up and coming indie Podcast Geekdom Queen, Sister Salem, whose twitch account is www.twitch.tv/sister_salem. She has also gained the Shout Out andOn the Right Path achievements, both worth a total of fifty points a piece, breaking down to the 25 points per achievement unlocked (again, we will be providing a list for you all). This streaming experiment aims to not only engage in discussion between the chat-goers of stream/youtube in philosophical discussion of the game, as well as humor, but also hopes to bring recognition to up-and-coming artists, authors, editors, movie-makers, gamer clans that are on their way to being entered into championships, as well as game developers and already popular streamers. The goal is for us to run a stream through our company’s gamer, CyphonCross89, in essence, while also combing the elements of a stream, with the elements of a radio/podcast that’s live. Of course, all videos will be uploaded to Youtube, for archival and viewing purposes, but the idea is that the live and immersive experience allows you to engage with the gamer. Furthermore, many aspects and choices of many of the games that will be offered through the streaming experience, will actually be chosen by you all. You guys will get to influence the choices and outcomes of the gaming session, while also having Cyphon put in his own ideas and influence and choices. You may be sitting there right now thinking, ‘Nah, this is just some stupid marketing ploy, we don’t really get to say anything, it’s like voting for the president!’ When I first saw this stream, indeed, I thought the exact same thing.
I was completely wrong.
People were engaging, after the interview, before the interview, they were immersed, and they were telling which choices for Cyphon to make while they could. Currently, CyphonCross89 is streaming The Walking Dead Season One, to which he has named, TWD Season One: Choices and Morals (Despite the game already having episodes and titles). The next game he will be streaming according to him, is The Walking Dead Season 2, name has yet to be confirmed. However, we did mention that you as viewers, readers, and the fan base also get a choice in what happens in the game. You also get a choice in what happens in terms of what games are being streamed.
Each week through our company facebook page, you will be able to vote on five games. The game that gets the most votes will be the game that is played, and the people that vote for the game the most, also will receive an achievement as well (there are those achivements again!) So your vote will matter. We should tell you that this juncture, we cannot guarantee a new guest every week, or new guests every week. We will be trying for it in terms of interviews, but as noted, we Meztrailov Fantasy Games, at this time, cannot guarantee an interview every week.
A quick, but sad, note is that we have not been able to renew our contract with author Raz T. Slasher, however, our relationship has not ended on bad terms. It was simply that negotiations could not be reached, and Meztrailov Fantasy Games, and their Founder especially, has noted that we wish him all the best of luck in his endeavors as he is attempting the self-publishing route. Again, from MFG to Raz T. Slasher, we truly appreciate the time we had with you as an author, and we wish you all the success in the world, and that you become one of the best known indie authors to date. You do have the talent for it! Go with all the luck in the world, and know that you have earned an achievement with us, Signed Your First Publishing Deal, a total worth 100 gamer points in achievement points (Them’s there achievement points again guys!)
Now, we at Mez Fantasy Games have assumed you’ve taken notice of the lack of episodes of The End of the Line. The Collaboration between MFG and Abyssal Books has not ended. In fact, that collaboration remains strong even today, and it has simply been a matter of technical issues on MFG’s part that has kept the series from progressing, however, that has been changed. Additionally, the number of writers for the show has been reduced, not because of incompetence, but due to simplicity and some of the other writers having lives that they needed to tend to before they could get involved with such a long-term project. MFG is still in the process of ascertaining the Music so that our Composer, the very Talented Kelly Fuscia, a brilliant-minded composer and mixer and original musical composer, can put together the official songs for each episode, and blend them so that the readers (you guys) can actually get the full immersive experience. That said, additionally, achievements will be given to those that had read each episode, and we will be keeping track of that, as we explain it further into this update. That said, the following writers for The End of the Line is Bryan Holland of Abyssal Books, M.A. Feldman of Meztrailov Fantasy Games, and Virginia (Insert Last Name), an independent author whose graciously dedicated her time and wonderful skill to helping this collaboration come even further to life.
Now, this entire update, we’ve been speaking about Achievement Points. Something that’s a common thing among the Twitch Streamers (Whose List we will be providing at the Bottom of this update), is the use of a bot machine that gives out, ‘Deras’. Anyone familiar with Meztrailov Online, the Online-AOL-RPG Based Game that is also played on Facebook as well and our forums, and produced by Meztrailov Fantasy Games, rewards viewers with Deras for every minute they spend throughout the stream. That said, we at MFG had decided to award achievement points like the ones mentioned at the top of this update and throughout, to those who have truly stuck with MFG, and those who are new and very interested in the things that MFG is doing. Now, these Achievement points do show a customer’s loyalty, and we will have a scoreboard, to which each month we will tally the scores. Now, the following are the methods in which we will do so are as follows:
Cha-Ching: Made your First Donation=10 Achievement Points
Moneybags: Made your Second Donation=20 Achievement Points
Pockets of Gold: Made your Third Donation=30 Achievement Points
Unlimited Bank Account: Made Four or More Donations, you must be loaded!=100 Achievement Points
Keeper of Literature: Purchased your first book published by Meztrailov Fantasy Games=10 Achievement Points
Path of the Librarian: Purchased your second book published by Meztrailov Fantasy Games.=20 Achievement Points
Lore Keeper: Purchased your Third book published by Meztrailov Fantasy Games.=30 Achievement Points
Secret Achievement: A secret and rare achievement….=Achievement Points???
Secret Achievement: A secret and rare achievement….=Achievement Points???
Secret Achievement: A secret and rare achievement….=Achievement Points???
Secret Achievement: A secret and rare achievement….=Achievement Points???
Contract Signed: Signed your First Publishing Contract=100 Achievement Points
Shout Out: Worked as an Affiliate with MFG or it’s Affiliates=25 Achievement Points
Best in the Business: Worked fantastically, and professionally with MFG Publishing.=25 Achievement Points
Now that said, these are just a few of the achievements that we have listed along with their values. We will be revealing the full list within the coming months, so please don’t judge too harshly on this short list. There will be a rather large list of achievements, and how they are unlocked, similar to the trophies and achievements from XBOX Live’s Network, Playstation’s Online Network, Steam’s Online Network, so on, and so forth. As stated previously, this list will only get bigger as we expand and grow further. Again, just a few of the prizes for having the highest achievement point score include free books, discounted book codes, signed digital and hard copies of books, personal one on one interviews with authors and artists, as well as time with the Publishers and Streamers via online communication with their approval.
That said, this pretty much covers this update. Until next time, we hope to hear more from you, in both regards of comments and of actual content readership and fanbase! Also, please note that the website will also be getting an update featuring the Stream Pages and Links to the Streamers mentioned above, as well as the gaming clans that are sponsored by Meztrailov Fantasy Games, as well as Clans that actually play for Meztrailov Fantasy Games that are in the process of attempting to enter the pro-league of E-Sports.
Written by M.A. Feldman, and Rachel Norman
First, I’d like to take the time to apologize for the delays in updates. Sometimes there’s a lot of things happening at once, other times, there’s simply nothing out of the ordinary to report on. However, there are several things to update and we’ve been doing our best to get them out there.
First, the most important thing: Recently, MFG Founder Matthew Feldman became a Co-Host, and Affiliated with the up and coming company, Geeks-N-Things (a series of links will be added to the affiliates page), and if you would like to speak with Geeks-N-Things and reach out to one of the nerdiest and awesome group MFG has had the pleasure to work with and become affiliated with, then feel free to click here on the affiliates page, to find their contact information. Their co-hosts include Sister Salem Conway, Jesse Cool, Matthew Feldman, Mikki, and Rae Rae. They are an interesting bunch to say the least, with their podcast episodes being done every other Saturday (twice a month, sometimes 3 times a month if it’s a three weekend month).
With that said, and our affiliates officially plugged (kidding you guys <3!), we have some updates regarding the Collaborative Web Series: End of the Line. We have a new addition, Virginia Bailey, a very talented writer, whose work we look forward to seeing committed to the show. Furthermore, unfortunately due to circumstances, Mariah Lynde has taken on the editing role, rather than seeing her talented work in this series; as she does in fact have two books being released soon, which we’ll have more information on soon enough. She has however taken on the editing of our alpha and beta stages of the Collaborative Web Series, thus demonstrating quite the skill when it comes to experience as an author and editor. However, the fact that she has remained on the project is something that MFG would like to proudly THANK HER for! So there’s her thank you, lol.
Furthermore, with recent events occurring, we will actually have for you, a complete immersive experience for the End of the Line Series, complete with actual sound track (if it becomes too irritating, you will have the ability to turn it off). We have been able to find some great music to add, while adding the perfect ambient vibe to your reading experience.
Moving along, we do have some other updates. The Dreams of Salvation FATE based game is coming along, with the lore being written still, but officially at the 50% mark! There’s actually however, a bit of trouble we’re having. So, we’re going to leave it up to you guys to decide for us, as was suggested by our Investor and Creative Director. You guys are going to get to decide, by the most votes, which should be included in our Steampunk-Fantasy game, Dreams of Salvation. So, without further adieu, here is the poll, and please pass this around to your gaming friends so that we have a really good idea of what it is in steam-punk you’re really looking for. With Dreams of Salvation, our goal was to provide you with the FATE core system and a more solidified version of it, with the ability to create your own settings within this world, and enjoy the full richness of a steam-punk world mixed with that of outlaws and gunslingers and ancient evils, all at the same time.
Now, in terms of our authorship, we are still accepting submissions with the standard guidelines; however, there is a key difference. We have opened up our submission guidelines to accept romance with hints of erotica, under the condition, that instead of the story being a story of sex, there is one of actual adventure and plot. If we receive a submission that is simply erotica, we will not bother responding, and simply delete the submission. We are opening romance up due to the high volumes of readers, and the plotlines that tend to follow romance stories that can be quite intriguing (Lancelot and Guinevere, Romeo and Juliet, etc.).
Author Mariah Lynde has officially begun two books and is still working on the third Vengeance of Avalon Novel. However, currently in the Alpha Stages of editing, we are eagerly awaiting the release of Mariah Lynde’s first horror survival zombie novel, Contingency. Written in the first person, the story centers on a young woman whose brute honesty, hilarity, and cunning is what has kept her alive throughout the Zombie Outbreak. Will she continue to survive? Look for Contingency, coming soon.
Additionally, come Memorial Day Weekend, we will be having a promotional discount that’s HUGE to all Amazon and Barnes and Nobles customers for the weekend only. This will only last until 5:00 PM Eastern on Labor Day Weekend. The sale will run from Friday September 2nd 2016 at 11:00 AM until September 5th 2016 at 5:00 PM Eastern. So please feel free to catch yourselves some fantastic books by Authors Raz T. Slasher, Mariah Lynde, and Jayson Zwirner.
That’s all for this update, looking forward to the next one, wherein we will have a preview of Contingency and the next book coming from Raz T. Slasher.
Written by M.A. Feldman
In this MFG Mouth Off, we have some exciting news.
First and Foremost, the Owner of MFG has partnered up with the Geeks -N- Things Podcast, and has become a co-host on their show, so a major congradulations to him on that end, as well as Congradulations to Executive Producer of MFG, Rachel Norman for also becoming a podcast member. You can find the link to this podcast, and its affiliated cast and website, under the affiliates page of our website.
Also, we are removing the cost for review services. If you can send us a digital copy of your book, please feel free to do so. Otherwise, we will simply pick the book up and review it when we can get our hands on it.
Now on the project side of things, we have a definitive release date since we had to push back some stuff and we’re still in the process of building the End of the Line Web-Series Website, and getting the Intro Theme and Episode Tracks together. The date that it has been pushed back to is July 8th, 2016. This gives us ample time to get the pilot and second episode fully edited, as well as get all the technical things on our end done. The following people are the official writers of The End of Line:
Bryan Holland (Abyssal Books)
Raz T. Slasher
Editing Done by: Meztrailov Fantasy Games
Theme and Music By: Raven Fuschia.
Again, the July release date for the pilot episode will be July 8th, 2016.
Now furthermore, we will still be looking for reader’s input and how the series is doing. So, aside from creating a facebook page for the Series, we’re also going to include on each episode a comment’s section so that you may let us know what you think and let us know how you feel about the writing quality as well as the story. Your feedback as a reader is what is important to us as Writer’s. Please understand that while we will take your feedback into consideration; this story is going to end up being written the way the story wants to be written. Any writer will be able to tell you that they can come up with a beginning and an end, but getting between those two points isn’t always a straight line. The middle of the road is always filled with paths that twist and bend and arc, and overlap. Such is the case with this collaborative project, especially, with one done by so many authors and two indie-publishing companies.
If you are looking to write for the web-series and get your work edited and published without a contract, all you need do is send us your idea for an episode at MezFantasyGamesMF@gmail.com, MezFantasyGamesRN@gmail.com, or use the contact form that is provided in our submissions page. We’ll keep you posted as more developments for the project arise. However, we do have a sneak peak of the Title Card for The End of the Line, as done by our executed Producer, Rachel Norman. That said, the following image is just what we promised, the Sneak Peak at the cover, which is still in the works so to speak! Also please know that each episode, will have a different title card, to represent vaguely (we do want you to read it after all), what the episode is going to be about!
The Title Card in Beta Form (Courtesy of Meztrailov Fantasy Games©, Art Courtesy of Rachel Norman).

First of all,
HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY EVERYONE!
A time to remember our troops, and our soldiers, who gave their lives valiantly for this country. So we’re going to take a minute, instead of cooking steaks, to wish the veterans of this country and their families a great day, and a sincere thank you to the soldiers who gave their lives for this country that we are privileged to live in.
Now with our moment of silence passed, it’s time we gave everyone the skinny on what’s been going on. As we noted last update, we’ve begun a huge collaborative effort. Currently, MFG and Abyssal Books will be working together to produce the “End of the Line” Web-series. The premise has remained the same, but we have a definitive working date of when we will be releasing the pilot Episode for the first season. That will officially be on Friday, June 17th, 2016. We will be releasing the full volume I of the first season after the first season is released, and based on reception from you as the readers. However, please know that we are doing this also to help give you guys something other than the typical normal style of reading. We are involving you in a world that’s been created so in-depth by the writers at work, that we hope you truly do enjoy it.
We also want you to know that the science that is found in this story will largely be 95% real, with 5% embellishment roughly due to creative license. We are doing this not because we want to get sued, but we want to give you that real edge of your seat feeling when you’re reading a horror story. We want you to be able to put yourselves in the minds of the characters and see what’s happening.
If you are an intendent writer who is looking to get their work out to the public, or at least get their names known, we are accepting writers to do that, as this is a collaborative project. Please note, that there are no plans of anyone being paid, this is a contribution and collaborative project to get everyone’s writing and name out there to the public, while also giving readers a world they can fully immerse themselves in. Once we have the page up for it, you will be able to contact us directly about writing for the web-series.
Also we have officially begun the development of the game Coalition Against the Darkness, a Fantasy-Steampunk themed game in which we will be utilizing our own lore, plus that of the very steam punk genre to deliver an exciting, story-driven table top RPG. We will have more news about this game as it unfolds. We will also give snippets of information along the way, as well as some glimpses into the lore.
Well, that’s all for now. So please, continue to check out our authors Mariah Lynde, Raz T. Slasher, and Jayson Zwimmer for their books, and the epicness that they bring our readers. MFG would also like to thank Abyssal Books for its collaboration and participation in this effort, and we welcome them aboard whole heartedly.
For everyone involved in this project, we will be releasing the web-page and subsequent pages for each episode under the soon to be added “Web-Fiction” tab that will be added to the website. We will also be removing the Sci-Fi Themed submission from our site, however, the hundred theme challenge does in fact, still remain. We do apologize for those minor inconveniences. We will update our open submissions page within the coming week.
That’s it for this Mouth Off!
