This month we promised some updates and some Mouthing Off, and it’s about time we start doing that. We do apologize for the delay in the blog update, but many things are going on right now that we are entirely excited about! In this month’s blog we’re going to talk about the release of Destiny (yes there will be Spoilers), as well as some projects that are being produced by MFG and lastly of course, but not the least in the slightest, are the projects that are currently available for sale from our website and store.
The Fury is Finally Here….
With much anticipation here at MFG, we are proud to announce that author Mariah Lynde’s novel, “Dark Fury” Book I of the Vengeance of Avalon series is officially on sale. If you’re interesting in paranormal romance mixed with action and adventure, than this is the book for you! You can find the book available at the following places:

Destiny: Legends are Born
Despite the lack of hype, and the overall “hush/hush” attitude of the game, and after spending it’s opening week playing a Warlock, I’ve found that the game overall brings the elements of an MMO together beautifully with a First Person Shooter. Already at one of the heighest levels of the game, overall, the storyline leaves something to be desired in the effect that there so much going on at once that it is somewhat difficult to keep up with. However, despite this, the overall gameplay is set up beautifully, despite the fact that you need to be logged into XBOX Live in order to play any of the single player campaign missions. However, a small problem with the game does come in the form of PvP matches, where in previous Bungie History, one would be able to learn the maps and the layouts, in this particular case with Destiny, that is actually not a possibility. The game no longer allows for Private PvP, thus enforcing more focus on its MMO aspects of the game than they are with the first person shooter aspect. The game thoroughly encourages Team Work, as all of its PvP modes are geared towards some kind of teamwork with the exception of the Rumble Crucible. Overall, the game deserves a 4/5 stars for its score, it’s precise controls and overall difficulty in both campaigns and against other players. The DLC for this game is also exciting, though not much has been released on it, it promises to definitively add more depth and story to legend that is Destiny.
Mime: Can you See the Horror Coming?
MFG is proud to announce that in conjunction with Raz T. Slasher of the Raz N’ Dark Podcast, will be releasing a book published through MFG in release partnership with the film “Mime” produced and directed by Raz T. Slasher himself! Based on the photos of the set, and the overall quality that’s gone into the production of the film and the short amount of information I was able to ascertain about the film, it promises to be one of the best indie horror films to date. The Book that will be accompanying the release of the movie, which will be published by MFG, is a horror themed story that sets parallel to the events of Mime the movie, where horror and terror collide in the shape of a silent killer. Are you prepared for horror and prepared to lose some sleep? If so, than Mime is the book for you! We will have more updates on this book and perhaps a sneak in the coming weeks! You can check out more updates about the film here: https://www.facebook.com/TheMimeFilm
Up Coming Projects-Literary Works
The End of Us: As the world devolves into a post-apocalyptic world, the Zombie Outbreak is beginning to destroy humanity. As Governments and Societies fall, the few remaining survivors begin to band together, or go their own separate ways. This is not an anthology for the faint of heart, as it takes you directly into the heart of a Zombie Apocalypse. The idea however, behind this story is that the authors working together, incorporate their work into one another’s stories. This means that for example a pocket watch that your favorite character loses, may be found in another author’s story and somehow used and explained. The idea is to get authors together, where we split the profits of the project equally among all of us for our contributions.
The Forgotten: Sci-Fi Retelling of Grimm’s Tales: This anthology is simple. We are looking for 10 stories to retell the Grimm’s Tales in a Sci-Fi Universe. Currently, we’re still looking for submissions, but bear in mind, they must be the re-telling of a previously written Grimm’s Tale. Nothing out of the Mother Goose Line Up or anything like that.
The Good Doctor: When a Criminal Psychiatrist finally reaches his breaking point, he decides it’s time to take matters into his own hands. After his patients begin failing in their treatments and fail to help themselves, the Psychiatrist becomes the inner-monster that they all fear to some degree. However, hot on his case is recently promoted Detective who ironically, due to the problems with his own past becomes a patient of the Good Doctor. Will the Good Doctor finally be caught, or will he elude the police and keep his family in the dark? This Podcast is still being worked on, however we will begin casting calls for voice actors within the next six months.
